By "crack" I mean personal addiction. What's your guilty pleasure? For the last 5 months or so, I have been insanely addicted to "FreeCell." Yes - that boring card game on the pc. I'm more than hooked on it. I steal 5 minutes a few times a day and get in a quick game to get my fix. It's really quite ridiculous how hooked I am on this lame game. But nevertheless, I am. According to the "Statistics" or F4 key, I've played 611 games of FreeCell, and my longest winning streak is 7 in a row. My current winning to losing/winning ratio is 43%. Not too high, especially considering how many games I've played - but oh well. So anyway, what's your crack? (hopefully it's not crack).
Hey, nice re-design!
Your title made me laugh because, I'm used to hearing that, but usually coming from Irish mouths. "What's the craic?" means "what's going on" and if an Irish person were to ask you.. "what's your craic" it'd be like saying "what are your plans?" Fun fact for the day.
My own personal crack is probably flickr. I can't get enough of it!
Freecell eh? I'm more of a Solitaire buff myself.. although maybe it's because I don't understand Freecell. Obviously I'm missing out on something beautiful.

Haha, this is funny...Sometimes Steve has the door shut in our computer room, there is no lock on the door, so once in a while I jump in and "surprise" him. He is usually playing free cell. Last night I asked him what it was all about and he told me he was addicted. His longest win streak is 10 and I think he has like a 83%, he said it would have been higher but sometimes he has to quit (to like work and stuff) and it makes you lose. Wow, his stats really excite me.
My personal crack(s): tea, MTV reality shows, bubble baths, chocolate, ebay & diet coke.

So I am not the only one with an addiction like this. Mine is MineSweeper. I hit that a few times a day for a break in the day. I love the Expert puzzle as it offers the longest destraction for a single puzzle. Best time Beginner: 8 sec Intermediate: 48 sec Expert: 136 Not the greatest but I am pleased.

a) I LOVE Freecell. I am soooo good at that game!! Not to overly pat my own back, since it's broke anyway, so I'll just brag fiercely - I'm GOOD.
b) I absolutely adore online RPG games - right now I'm playing City of Heroes. I have World of Warcraft, Everquest 2, Anarchy Online, etc.
c) I love watching season DVD's. Right now I"m working on season two of Battlestar Galactica. I also have season one of House, MD (which I saw every episode anyway). I really want the complete Friends seasons collection, as that is probably one of my favorite shows. That and Monk.
d) instant messaging. I can sit and talk to my friends all day. I'll even hook up the webcam so we can see each other real time.
e) blogging. I'm totally addicted to blogging. Writing and reading.
f) photography. I was completely lost and frustrated without a digital camera. Now that I have one again, it's in my hand all the time.
g) my laptop. I am so grateful to my husband for buying me my laptop.
h) crocheting - I can sit for hours and crochet baby blankets and full size blankets, just for fun.
i) my children. I'm totally and completely addicted to my children. There are times when I need a break and get out on my own but after 45 minutes i'm calling the house to hear their voices because i miss them too much.
and the biggest thing I'm addicted to - going outside, laying on my hammock with my laptop set up and enjoying the fresh air while browsing the internet and having my dog cuddled up with me while listening and watching my most precious gifts - my three daughters - play imaginiative play. I'll snap pictures of the kids at play, post them on my blog and Flickr account, talk to my friends, and do all my other addictions while outside.
I guess I'm just addicted to life in general?

My crack has been the DVR but next week it's going to be "Oblivion". I have played freecell before and have found it addicting but not for very long.

I think people are addicted to things they don't even know they are addicted to. At those AA meetings isn't the hardest thing admitting you are addicted? I know this is an easy going question. I'd say my crack is sugar, chocolate, and the internet.

I'm all about JAWBREAKER on my pocket PC. I just learned from a friend the "Megashifter" version, which is WAY better. You can get much higher scores.
Is it sad that I use my pocketPC mostly for a) calendar b) sometimes looking up medications and c) playing Jawbreaker when I'm bored in lecture?!?!
