E3 was held last week. For those who don't know, the Electronic Entertainment Expo is the premiere event each year in which new videogames and gaming console technology are announced. One of the coolest things shown this year was the new Nintendo Wii and its motion-sensing remote control. That's right, a remote that sense movement and responds accordingly. Imagine tennis games, sword fights, fighting games, etc. in which how well you do is based on how well you move your arm around. Pretty cool.
The Playstation 3 was also shown in more detail and will retail for $600.Yikes. But keep in mind you'll be getting a Blu-ray DVD player with it; so that's kinda cool. One game announced I must get will be Bioware's Mass Effect - oh man, that looks rad. It will debut on the XBOX360. Also HellGate London coming out on the PC. Other games I must buy will be Elder Scrolls IV: Oblivion, Titan Quest, Crysis and Neverwinter Nights 2, not to mention Assassin's Creed on the PS3.
I'll hope that Mass Effect comes out on the PC, that way I can skip the XBOX360. If this is the case, then I can buy a PS3 with the Blu-ray DVD player for $600 and pick-up Assassins Creed. Then, I can head over to Alienware and pick up a decent gaming system for the others for about $2.5K; plus several games at at least $50 a pop, we're looking at only $3250 to play videogames for the next 6 months or so.
Chump change. Yeah - like that'll happen. Hahaha.
I like the writing structure of your blog and it does a pretty decent job of presenting the material.
