Like I said, 2 weekends ago, we went up to San Francisco so I could shoot a couple of engagmeent portraits. I shot Kerry and Mike on Saturday, and Jacey and Pat on Sunday. We decided to shoot their engagement portraits at San Francisco's Golden Gate Park. We walked around the area around the conservatory of flowers (hence all the nature-y type shots, and the amphitheater and grove in front of the DeYoung Museum. It was a really fun place to shoot, it had SO many different looks within the park. Plus, I had a lot of fun getting to know Jacey and Pat, who I've only corresponded ('til then) via email. They're both a great couple (and she's an SCU alum, also, like I am, so that's fun too. We tried to figure out all the people we knew in common. It's funny, Jacey and Pat found me through the Chrissy and Tim/Julie and Ryan connection of people (as are a few of my weddings this year). I've met such great people through them both, and I originally got to know them through Eileen, who graduated with me at SCU (thanks Eileen!). It's really fun how you start working through a group of friends. I keep seeing similar people at the same weddings, so that's an extra fun thing.
Anyhow, I'll stop digressing. I love how Jacey and Pat's photos turned out. Here are a few of my favorites (with more after the jump, if you're curious). And I promise to post some of my weddings soon, I've been shooting almost ever weekend (and beginning next week, will have at least one wedding a week - sometimes two - through November) and I'm editing all week (thank goodness for our nanny, Meagan). I promise to post weddings soon! But in the meantime, here are some of my favorite of Jacey and Pat's engagement shots. If you want to see all of them, click here and you'll be taken to all the photos.
